Funeral services will be held 7:00 P.M. Friday May 18, 2018 at Memorial Funeral Home with Rev. Johnny McCoy officiating. The family will receive friends 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home.

Effie Louise McKelvey, 87 of Maryville, went to be with Jesus on May 15, 2018. She was preceded in death by her Son: James Edward Nix, Parents: Charlie “Pete” and Susan Ann McKee, 2 sisters, and 6 brothers. She is survived by her Children: Robert Nix (Rita), and Margie Henderson (Jerry), Grandchildren: Jamie Nix and Nicole Wilkerson, Great Grandchild: Garrett Wilkerson, and Sisters: Georgie Ford, Mattie Croft (Dave), Elizabeth Vincent (Herbert) and Portia McKee (Gary).
