Wes wishes to spend eternity among the waters of Norris Lake and his vacation get away in Upper Michigan, so his ashes will be spread, and a celebration will be held at a date to be determined.

Earl “Wes” Musgrave Jr. – Friendsville, TN – The man. The myth. The legend. Men wanted to be him, and women wanted to be with him. Wes Musgrave died on March 15, 2022. Wes loved going to his cabin “man cave” in Upper Michigan with his family especially his grandson and best friend Kyle Thirkield and close friend Chad Haun. He also loved spending time at his floating home on Norris Lake with his wife Rhonda and enjoyed hanging out with his family and lake friends at Whitman Hollow and the Wet Spot (floating home bar). Wes was an avid Ohio State fan and loved throwing buckeye parties for his family and friends. He also enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson. Wes was a master craftsman who excelled in building custom homes and lake front docks and lifts. Wes was one of the best in the business and loved doing it. Wes loved to tell funny stories and would often laugh at his own jokes. He was always the center of attention and put a smile on everyone’s face. More than anything, Wes loved his family. Wes was born in Columbus, Ohio to Earl Musgrave Sr and Mary Ellen (Hagerman) Musgrave on June 4, 1956. He went to school at Big Walnut in Sunbury, OH. He married Rhonda (Pfarr) Musgrave on August 13, 1988, in Cove Lake, TN. Wes is preceded in death by his father Earl Musgrave Sr. and mother Mary Ellen (Hagerman) Musgrave and his son Joe Pfarr. He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Rhonda (Pfarr) Musgrave of Friendsville, TN, his son Denny Musgrave, his daughter Christy Musgrave, his brother Eric (Susan) Musgrave, his sister Tona (Mike) Reeb, his son Jamy (Julie) Pfarr, his daughter Angie (Rob)Thirkield, grand children Kyle (Sara) Thirkield, Austin (Camelia) Pfarr, Makala (Justin) May, Ashley (Tyson Sloan) Pfarr, Daniel Musgrave, Sierra Pfarr, Zach Pfarr, Jorgia Musgrave, Morgan Pfarr, Cadence Malaby, Brianna Bailey, great grandchildren Mia May and Carter Sloan, and many other relatives and friends.
