A viewing will be held on Monday, October 26, from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Memorial Funeral Home, 1102 Big Springs Road, Maryville, Tennessee. Family and Friends are welcome to stop by and pay their respects.
Graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 27, at 12:00 p.m. at Grandview Cemetery. Minister Mike Mikels, officiating. Ben and Janet Cooper will provide music. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the Rocky Branch Community Center at 4632 Rocky Branch Road, Walland, TN 37886. Doris Ellen Turbyfill Ridings, Born July 30, 1940 to Wayne and Bonnie Turbyfill, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, at the age of 86. Doris was preceded in death by her husband, Earnest “Stutt” Ridings; her parents, Wayne and Bonnie Turbyfill; brother, Paul Turbyfill; and brother-in-law Harold Keller. Survivors include her son, Mike Caldwell, and wife, LouAnn; sister Sue Keller; brother Don Turbyfill and wife, Mary Jane; sister-in-law, Linda Turbyfill; grandchildren Bobby, Jennifer, Chelsea, Lindsay, and Alex; and several great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews to mourn her passing. Doris and Earnest “Stutt” Ridings were active members of the Rocky Branch Community Club for many years. Doris was also a member of Rocky Branch Bethel Baptist Church.
