The family will receive friends from 12:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. Thursday July 16, 2026. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Daniel Buchanan officiating. Burial will follow at 3:00 P.M. at Sherwood Memorial Gardens.

David W. Edgar Jr, 81 of Maryville, was born on June 1, 1945, and passed away July 11, 2026. David worked at Alcoa Aluminum Company. He was preceded in death by parents: David W. Edgar Sr. and Annabelle, and sister: Betty Carter. David is survived by his wife of 50 years: Mamie Edgar, brothers: John (Amy) Edgar, James Edgar, and Joe Edgar, sisters: Shirley Walker, Doris Heflin, and Teresa Lyday, and several nieces and nephews.
