Funeral services will be held 4:00 P.M. Saturday May 18, 2019 at Hillcrest Baptist Church with Pastor Charles Murrell and Rev. Greg Long officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. Saturday at the church.

Dallas Carl Stephens, Sr., 77 of Maryville, passed away May 15, 2019. He was an avid sports fan, especially Atlanta Braves, Tennessee Vols and NASCAR. He loved to have fun and laugh with family and friends, he enjoyed his yard work and flowers, and he loved his beach vacations and eating his seafood. Even though his illness was lengthy, he still was committed to taking care of his beloved wife. He was preceded in death by his Daughter: Teresa Dawn Stephens Palmer, Parents: John and Thelma Stephens, Mother and Father-in-law: William E. and Dorothy Riddle, Sister: Gladys Johnson, Brother: John C. Stephens, Brothers-in-law: Orton Johnson, Harold Holliman, Fred Reed, Jake Queener, John Riddle, and Norman Riddle, Sisters-in-law: Fredia Stephens and Carolyn Riddle. He is survived by loving Wife of 58 years: Bonnie E. Stephens, Sons: Dallas Stephens Jr., Brian (Becky) Stephens, Daughter: Missy (Mike) Taylor, Grandchildren which were his pride and joy include: Brandon Stephens(Melissa McCarter), Derek Valentine, Corey Taylor (Rachel), Dustin Valentine (Jessy), Erica Stephens, Brady Stephens, Baylee Stephens, Great Grandchildren: Braylon Stephens and Maddie McCarter, Brothers: Ray (Grace) Stephens, Vernon (Marty) Stephens, and Sisters: Betty Holliman, Dorothy Reed, Martha Queener, Velma (Kenneth) Tucker, Janice (Ron) Kiser, and Sandy (Jim) Carter.
