Service Date April 24, 2026
A Celebration of Life will be held at Trinity Presbyterian Church at 5:00pm Friday, April 24, 2026, with Pastor Jonathan Brooks and Elder Barry Heaton officiating, followed by a Remembrance Gathering in the fellowship hall.
A private burial will precede services.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Trinity Presbyterian Church or Blount County Education Foundation.

It is with profound love and deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Carmen Elizabeth Harvey McNelly, who passed away peacefully on April 16, 2026, surrounded by family. Married to Don McNelly for 60 years, she was known for her optimism, kindness, dedication to education, love for the Lord, and deep devotion to her family and church family, Trinity Presbyterian Church. She is survived by her brother, Clarke Harvey, children Sarah McMurray (Trevor), Susan Lee (Jeff), Seth McNelly, Scott McNelly (Margarita), and grandsons Steven, Miguel, Samuel, Connor, Jonah, Keller, Sayer, Reed, and Colt.
