The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Monday July 31, 2023, at Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 P.M. Family and friends will all meet at 12:00 P.M. Tuesday, August 1, 2023, at Dotson Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery for a graveside service.

He is survived by his children: John Burchfield, Brian Burchfield, and Marcel Pilkey, 12 grandchildren, and brothers and sisters: Don Burchfield, Marlie Burchfield, Charlotte Hunt, Wilma Sparks, Joann Pegg, Valma Wilson, Darlene Martin, and Janette Curtis.
