The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. on Sunday, December 15, 2024, at Memorial Funeral Home with a memorial service following at 3:00 P.M. with Rev. Brad Paradis officiating. Graveside burial will be held on Monday, December 16, 2024, at 1:00 P.M. at Sherwood Memorial Gardens with Rev. Gary Thomas officiating.

Bonnie M. Hubbs, of Maryville, age 90, went home to be with the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, December 12, 2024. She passed away peacefully surrounded by her family and her husband of 72 years Wayne E. Hubbs. Bonnie is preceded in death by her parents, Ellis C. and Mildred M. Smith, her oldest son Edward R. Hubbs and her youngest grandson Alexander O. Hubbs. Left to cherish her memory besides her loving and devoted husband is her son Jack C. Hubbs (Kim), Maryville; daughter-in-law, Sandra Hubbs and granddaughters Amanda Shaw (Deric) and Ashley Hubbs, Kennesaw, GA. Grandson Derek Hubbs, Maryville. Bonnie is also survived by brothers, Johnnie C. Smith and Jack Smith and sisters, Marylou Johnson, Frances Moore and Sandy Smith. She also leaves many nieces and nephews. Bonnie was a member of Madison Avenue Baptist Church. The family would like to thank so many for their kindness and support during Bonnie’s illness. Special thanks to the staff at The Waters Nursing Home and to the staff at Gentiva Hospice Care. The family is also eternally grateful for the friendship and support of Don and Linda Morton.
