The family and friends will meet at 2:00 P. M. Friday September 16, 2022, at the Mullins Cemetery, off of Lindsey Cemetery Road in Madisonville, TN for graveside funeral service with Pastor Grayson Garrett officiating.  The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 PM Thursday September 15, 2022, at Memorial Funeral home in Maryville 1102 Big Springs Road Maryville, TN 37801.

The reverend Benny W. McLemore 80 of Loudon, TN went home to be with Jesus on Sunday September 11, 2022, he was peacefully listening to the gospel hymns, he served his country as a PFC in the E-3 BTRY “C” 2/115 ARTY-USAR.  He served his God in his ministry of the gospel of Jesus Christ.  He is preceded in death by his Parents: Allen and Vesta (Duncan) McLemore and his Brother: Oliver McLemore.  Benny leaves behind his wife of 58 years: Winna (Hammontree) McLemore, his Sons: Eddie Hammontree, and Benny C. McLemore and (Fiancé Melissa Kennedy), Daughters: Rhonda (John) Lanter, and Christie (Dallas) Teaster, Grandson: Johnathan (Kaitlyn) Hammontree, Granddaughters: Samantha Perez, and Britney Fuller, Step grandchildren: Dylan Branson and Ashley Brummett, Great Granddaughters: Sage Teaster, and Tatum Hammontree, Step Greatgrandchildren: Axl Brummett, and Paislynn Branson, Brothers: Wendell (Margaret) McLemore, and Thomas and (Rhonda) McLemore, Sisters: Sue (Dan) Oliver, Wilma (Charles) Cameron, and Sandra (Grayson) Garrett, Special sister-in-law: Hilda McLemore, Several nieces and nephews.  Special thanks to the UT hospital Nurses: Lori, and Stephanie for the care and compassions they have given Benny and his family during his time with Hospice.
