Service Date June 9, 2022
Funeral services will be held at 7:00 P. M. Thursday June 9, 2022, with Pastor Jordan Amburn officiating at Memorial Funeral Home 1102 Big Springs Road Maryville, TN 37801. The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home. The family and friends will meet at 11:00 A.M. Friday June 10, 2022, for Entombment Services with full military honors provided by the United States Airforce.

Barry Shafer a disabled veteran who served in the air force no longer needs his wheelchair on account he was called to his everlasting home by his Lord and savior Jesus Christ on June 2, 2022. Behind he leaves his beloved wife 50 years Donna Shafer a son Ronald Svedberg, two sisters, several nieces and nephews, grandchildren, and many special friends. Forever loved and missed by all.
