The family and friends will meet for Graveside Funeral Services with Pastor Mike Parker officiating at 10:00 AM Monday, July 21, 2025, at the East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery 2200 E Governor John Sevier Hwy Knoxville, TN 37920.

Barbara “Jean” Queen, 86, went peacefully to be with the Lord on July 14, 2025, at her home surrounded by her family. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is survived by her loving husband of sixty six years Jack E. Queen. Daughter Suzette Queen Rice and husband Thomas Rice, son Rodney and wife Martie Queen, Sisters Gail Flynn and Charlotte Duerden. She was loved by four grandchildren Andrew Rice and wife Katherine, Preston Rice and wife Katelyn, Abagail Queen Downey and husband Michael Downey, Jackson Queen and wife Makinzie. Also, loved by eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents Leslie and Annie Colvin, Brothers Cleo Colvin, Butch Colvin and Ricky Colvin, Sisters Faye Stratton and Peggy Duckett. She was a loving and dedicated daycare worker and had a great love for children. She attended New Hope Baptist Church for several years.
