Funeral services will be held at 7:00 P.M. Wednesday December 28, 2022, at Memorial Funeral Home 1102 Big Springs Road Maryville, TN 37801 with Pastor Rex Everett officiating, The family and friends will meet at Sherwood Memorial Gardens in Alcoa at 11:00 A.M. Thursday for Graveside services. The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Barbara Joyce James age 76 of Maryville passed away at her home Monday December 26, 2022, after an extended fight with cancer. She was preceded in death by her Parents: Harold and Marie Martin, brother-in-law Jean and James Martin, Brothers: Jim Martin, Ray “Pug” Martin, Elmer Martin, Nephews: Todd Sutton, and Teddy Martin, She is survived by her Husband of 57 Years: Gene James, Daughter and Son-in-law: Melony and Rodney Mason, Grandchildren: Taylor and Rylee Mason, Great-Grandchild: Leo Allen Mason, Brothers and Sisters-in-law: Ronald and Myrtle James, Barbara and Burl Keasler, and Louise and Sam Price, Brother and Sister-in-law: Doyle and Virginia Martin, Sisters: Judy Sutton, and Brenda Ridings, Sister-in-law: Daisy Martin, several nieces and nephews.
