Friends may call to pay their respects at their convenience at Memorial Funeral Home 1102 Big Springs Road Maryville, TN 37801 from 11:00 A.M. to 4 P.M. Wednesday. The family and friends will meet at Grandview Cemetery 12:00 Noon Thursday June 11, 2026, for graveside funeral services with Pastor Ray McKeehan officiating.

Barbara Jean Gibson (White), 84 of Maryville, Tennessee, went to be with the Lord on June 8, 2026. She’s preceded in death by her parents James White, and Virginia Massingale, sister Peggy Lyons, and brother Jimmy White. She was the devoted wife of the late Wade Gibson Sr. They were happily married for 40 years. They also lost an infant child. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Kim and Doug Strickland and her son and daughter-in-law Wade and Beth Gibson. Her grandchildren include Kay Ellsworth, JW Strickland, Doug Strickland, Caitlin Gibson Westmoreland, Scarlett Price, and David Gibson. She had 10 great grandchildren. She loved her family dearly and was dearly loved by them in return, and she will be greatly missed.
