A memorial will be held at 6pm, Saturday, March 24, in the Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, Maryville, TN. Friends and family may visit prior to the service from 4:00 P.M. – 6:00 P.M. Due to Alex’s love of animals, contributions in his memory may be made to the Atlanta or Maryville Humane Society.

Alexander (Alex) O’Neal Hubbs, 25, went to his heavenly home on Thursday, March 15, 2018. Alex was born June 4, 1992 in Knoxville, TN and grew up in the Knoxville, Birmingham and Atlanta areas and was currently residing in Atlanta, GA. He previously attended Georgia Tech University and was currently working and had returned to school at a local area college with the goal of graduating in December. He is survived by his parents, Jack and Kim Hubbs and brother Derek Hubbs, all of Maryville, TN. He is also survived by his paternal grandparents, Wayne and Bonnie Hubbs, uncle Edward Hubbs, aunts Janie Tarwater (Larry), Gayla Boling (Steve), Tina Arthur (Steve) and Toni Cassidy (Marc), several cousins and extended family. He is also survived by numerous dear friends in the Atlanta area. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Francis O’Neal Cantrell and Louanah Cantrell Vineyard.
