Stephen Smith Murphy Sr., 72 of Maryville, TN, born February 8, 1953, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 30, 2025.  He is survived by wife: Ronda Murphy; children: Jennifer Jordan with husband Darren Jordan, Stephen Murphy Jr., with wife Stacey Murphy, April Arms with husband Joshua Arms, Ashleigh Williams with husband Justin Williams, all of Maryville, TN; brother: Joe Samuel Murphy with wife Brenda Murphy of Maryville, TN; sister: Jennifer Johnson with husband Richard Johnson; grandchildren: Chad Buchanan, Libby Benson, Gavin Murphy, Jacob Arms, Aiden Jordan, Carson Jordan, Jonah Arms, Abby Arms, Gabriel Williams, Micah Williams, Brooklyn Willimas, Cage Murphy; niece and nephew: Becca Johnson and Nick Johnson, and many great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by father and mother: Kenneth Murphy and Jeraldine Murphy.  Known by most to be simple, direct, and a hard worker, he always enjoyed watching his favorite shows on MeTV.  Beloved by his family and friends, he will be missed.
