December 4, 1949 - November 27, 2024 Service Date: December 1, 2024 Funeral services will be held 7:00 P.M. Sunday December 1, 2024, at Memorial Funeral Home with Rev. Scott Kidd officiating. Family and friends will all meet at 2:00 P.M. on Monday December 2, 2024, at Morganton Cemetery for a graveside service. The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home. |

Carl Gene Dockery, 74 of Friendsville, went to be with the Lord on November 27, 2024. He was a 40 year Mason, and a retired autobody mechanic. He was a veteran of The United States Army. He loved the Lord and his family. He was very special to his wife and everyone. He was preceded in death by his parents: George and Margie Dockery, brother: Allen, sister: Georgia and husband, wife: Pearl Dockery, son: Danny Dockery, and brother-in-law: Tom Dalton. He is survived by his wife: Brenda Dockery, children: Beckie Paduano of Texas, George (Tara) of Florida, Karla (Tommy) Morris of Georgia, Shane Dockery of Strawberry Plains, Carol Brendal and husband of Florida, Bo (Maegan) Dockery of Florida, Jacklyn (Donald) Black of Florida, Martin (Amy) Flannery of Philadelphia, TN, Melissa (Trent) Lewis of Sweetwater, Wayne McMurray of Friendsville, sisters: Patricia Dalton and Brenda (Gary) Simerly, and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. | |
