Sunday, September 29, 2024, at Grandview Cemetery for a graveside service. The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. on Saturday at the funeral home. |

Jessie Lee Tipton, born May 19, 1937, and passed away September 25, 2024, at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was preceded in death by his parents: Wade and Willie Tipton, (they were descendants of Cades Cove) brothers: Carl, Doyle, J.H., sister: Ruth Tipton, favorite nephew: Roy Lee Tipton, and favorite niece: Lisa Tipton. He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years who was by his side: Wanda Jean Tipton, daughters: Pat Lambert and Larry Releford, and Kim and Don Fife, sons: Randy and Marilyn Thornton, Jimmy Nation, Charles and Ginger Tipton, Tommy Oliver, Mike and Shelia Tipton, and Gary and Dottie Tipton, precious dog of many years: Samson, sisters: Coleen Headrick, Georgia Faye, Correll and Judith Payne, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. | |
