February 4, 1929 - October 13, 2022 Service Date: October 16, 2022 Funeral services will be held at 6:00 P.M. Sunday October 16, 2022, at Calvary Baptist Church in Alcoa, with Pastor Greg Williamson officiating. Family and friends will all meet 11:00 A.M. Monday October 17, 2022, at Oakview Baptist Church Cemetery for a graveside service. Family will receive friends 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. Sunday at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Calvary Baptist Church, Alcoa, building fund. |

Betty Louise Dial, 93 of Alcoa, went to be with the Lord on October 13, 2022. She was a pastor’s wife and helped him serve in 5 different states. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. In her younger years she worked for a Christian kids club. She was preceded in death by her parents: Harry and Hazel Jansen, son: James L. Dial, and brothers: Wayne Jansen and Harry “Bud” Jansen. She is survived by husband of 73 years: James E. Dial, brother and sister-in-law: Virgil and Tracy Jansen of Florida, children: Betty Sue Morton, David (Kathy) Dial, and Penny Dial, daughter-in-law: Judy Dial, 9 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild. | |
