Dennis Gerald Frye

Dennis Gerald Frye, born September 2, 1937, left this world to be with his heavenly Father on Friday, December 14, 2018 at the age of 81. Devoted husband, father, and grandfather, Dennis served as a Sargent in the US Army from January 28, 1955 until January 4, 1958. He and his wife were owners of Clinton Rental Equipment Company in Clinton, TN for over 30 years. Dennis and Joyce were faithful followers of 180 Church in Maryville, TN. Dennis is preceded in death by his son, Lewis Daniel Minor, his mother and father, Daniel and Mahala Frye, siblings Dallas Frye, Juanita Frye, Joyce Frye Richardson, and Mildred Frye Boldin. Dennis is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 32 years Joyce Frye, his children Kim Frye Byrum of Knoxville, TN, Ginger Frye Quarles (Bud Perkey) of Strawberry Plains, TN, Tami Frye Ware (Kevin Ware) of Mineral Bluff, GA, Gerald Frye of Johnson City, TN, Trish Minor Traxler (Jerry Traxler) of Maryville, TN, daughter-in-law Carrie Minor of Knoxville, 10 grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, one great great grandson, his brother Derrell Frye (Brenda Frye) of Knoxville, TN and many special nieces and nephews.
