Malcolm Inman

Macolm Inman passed away unexpectedly, August 7, 2026, at Blount Memorial Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He will be remembered for his sense of humor and his infectious laugh and willingness to help anybody when needed. He enjoyed camping, fishing, and driving. He graduated from Walland High School and worked until retirement at Vulcan materials after 34 years. Malcolm was preceded in death by his father: Stanley Inman, mother: Betty Buchanan, and brother: Shan Inman. He leaves behind his soulmate and loving wife for 28 years: Betty Garland Inman, precious daughter Amy (Angela), sons: Tyler and Josh, stepchildren: Jimmy (Misty) and Steven Gooden, granddaughter: Avery, step grandchildren: JJ and Chase, sisters: Macheala (Tony), Jeanette (David), brother: Porky (Kim), several nieces and nephews, best friends: Jeff Robertson, and brother-in-law: Troy Garland.
