Tena Leasa Blankenship

March 22, 1971 - December 26, 2025

There will be a private service for the family and close friends.

Tena Leasa Blankenship (Jones), age 54, of Maryville, Tennessee, passed away at her home on December 26, 2025, covered by the love of Jesus Christ.

Tena was a devoted mother, cherished grandmother, and loving aunt whose greatest joy was her family. Her heart was gentle, her love unwavering, and her presence comforting to all who knew her. She had a special way of making those around her feel seen, cared for, and deeply loved. Whether through her words, her laughter, or her quiet strength, Tena left an unforgettable mark on the hearts of those she held close.

She is survived by her beloved daughter, Sierra Christine Douglas (Crew), and son-in-law Samuel Houston Douglas; her treasured grandchildren, Samuel “Jonah” Douglas and Shyanne Belle Douglas, who were the light of her life; her special niece, Amanda (Brian) Myers, Marty (Andrea) Guardino and her great-niece and nephews, Maliyah, Grayson, and Mason Myers, whom she loved dearly.

Tena is reunited in heaven with her beloved son, Adam Jacob Crew; her husband, Lester Wayne Greene; her mother, Sandra Faye Jones; her siblings, Dedra, Josh, and Tuffy Jones; and her grandmother, Nellie Rae Hendrix. Though her passing leaves a profound emptiness, her family takes comfort in knowing she is now at peace and surrounded by those she loved who went before her.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Tena’s memory to Good Neighbors of Blount County, an organization that reflects her caring heart and compassion for others.

John 11:25–26 (NIV): “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die.”

Tena’s love will continue to live on through her family, her memories, and the countless lives she touched.
