July 16, 1948 - June 27, 2024 Service Date: July 1, 2024 We will receive friends on July 1, 2024, from 5:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. at Memorial Funeral Home with services to immediately follow. Burial will be Wednesday July 3, 2024, at 4:00 P.M. at St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery on Duncan Road (unlike mom, he knows where he is going). Again…. Susan and Becky ask for no flowers or plants, as we know we will kill them. Please donate to the Shriner’s Hospital. FYI…. Dad was a truck driver for 47 years and kept it a secret that he graduated from truck driving school. Oops, cat’s out of the bag. He was also a member of New Providence Lodge #48 F & AM. |

William “Franklin” Jarnagin, (the man, the myth, the legend- in his own mind) 75, departed this world on June 27, 2024, for the great corn crib in the sky, (If you know you know) to go and harass our mother. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 52 years Priscilla, (sorry mom we tried to get you a few more years of peace), his mother Dorothy Lawson, father Earl Jarnagin, son Michael Jarnagin, great grandson Bentley Wright, multiple in laws (and outlaws) and several brothers and sisters, (and the loves of his life Mamaw and Flash). He is survived by daughter Susan (daddy’s girl) and Tim Bynum, Rebecca (also daddy’s girl) and Bill (man-love) Trollope. Then there are – give or take 9 grandchildren depending on who’s counting and almost twice as many great grandchildren. | |
