Larry Beckham

On Tuesday, May 28, 2024, Larry Beckham entered into the Kingdom of Heaven. Larry was a “Smalltown Southern Man”, one of the hardest workers, the kindest gentleman, the GREATEST storyteller, beloved “Papa” to his grands, the best Daddy a girl could ever ask for, and the most wonderful husband. He was a lifelong Georgia Bulldogs fan; he loved a good cup of hot, black coffee, a nice long drive through the mountains with his darlin’; and spending time with his family. He was a true patriot who loved his country. He was a husband, daddy, papa, brother, and friend, but most importantly, he was a child of God.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Francis Hall Beckham, father, Grady Beckham, brother, Stanley Beckham, and daughter Elizabeth Pate. He is survived by his beautiful bride of 45 years, Charlotte Beckham; daughters and sons-in-law, Tina and Greg Davis, Frances and David Prince, and Shanelle Beckham; grandchildren, Bryce, Chloe, Drew (partner, Abbi), Benjamin, Nathaniel (wife, Diana), Gabriel (wife, Katherine), Isaac, William, Evelyn, Elaana, Kenneth (wife, Lacey), Heather (husband, Brad), and Angel; great-grandchildren, Alexus (husband, Matthew), Cheyenne, Kenny, Levi, Christian, Zophia, Aurora, Madison, Taylor, Spencer, Junior, Sawyer, Lilith and Alicia; Lindsay Beckham (family/friend), and siblings, Darlene, Dale (wife, Teresa), Jimmy (wife, Pam), Patricia, and Eugene (wife, Tammy). He was beloved by all who knew him and will be deeply missed. The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to the nurses, doctors, and staff at UT Hospice Services, especially, Nurse Chandra.
