March 20, 1929 - January 19, 2023 Service Date: January 22, 2023 Funeral services will be held at 6:00 P.M. Sunday January 22, 2023, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel: 1102 Big Springs Road, Maryville, TN. The family and friends will meet at 1:00 P.M. Monday January 23, 2023, at Grandview Cemetery for Graveside services. The family will receive friends from 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. on Sunday at the funeral home. |

Eloise Marguerte Hoyt, 93 of Littleton Maine, was born March 20,1929 and passed away January 19th, 2023, at her home. Eloyse was Born to: George A Hoyt and Dorothy (Sheaine) Hoyt. She is preceded in death by her parents and siblings: Brothers: Frank Emery, John Merton, and Ray Ewdwin, Sisters: Marieta Belle, Georgia Beryle. Survived by: Brother Carl Everette and (Rose) Everette from Portland Oregon and Several Nieces and Nephews. She received her early education in Maine, later earning a BS and MALS degrees from George Peabody Vanderbilt University college for Teachers. She Worked at Tennessee State Library and Archives and as a college librarian in South Carolina. She then retired to East Tennessee.
