The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Tuesday, May 13, 2025, at Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 P.M. with Pastor Josh Sullivan officiating. Family and friends will all meet at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at Grandview Cemetery for an entombment service.

Ronald Gary Heath, age 73, of Maryville, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on May 7, 2025. Known to friends and family simply as Gary, he was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and community leader who left an indelible mark on Blount County through decades of service and dedication.
Gary is survived by his loving wife, Lisa Heath; his sons, Bradley Heath (Michelle Heath) and Eric Heath (Ciara Heath); his grandchildren, Jackson Heath, Sadie Heath, Lily Heath, and Charlotte Heath; his brother, Larry Heath; his good friend and father-in-law, Bill Lyons. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dennis and Elizabeth Heath; his brother, Buford Heath; and his sister, Joyce Heath.
A true advocate for his community, Gary created the Partners for Kids Blount County Schools coupon book fundraiser, a program that has raised millions of dollars to support local education. He also founded Good Landlords of Blount County, working to promote responsible and ethical property management. His passion for public service extended to his involvement in the Citizens Police Academy programs for the Blount County Sheriff’s Office, Maryville Police Department, and Tennessee Highway Patrol. Earlier in life, he was a proud member of the Maryville-Alcoa JayCees.
Gary’s greatest joys included traveling with his family, caring for his yard, reading, and camping. He approached life with a warm heart, a sharp mind, and a tireless commitment to helping others.
His legacy of kindness, leadership, and community spirit will continue to live on in the many lives he touched.
