Service Date February 24, 2026
Funeral services will be held at 7:00 P.M. Monday February 23, 2026, at Memorial Funeral Home 1102 Big Springs Road Maryville, TN 37801 with Pastor Jake Deputy officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home. The family and friends will meet at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday February 24, 2026, at Holston College Cemetery for Graveside Funeral Services.

Robert “Bob” Garner born December 17, 1941, in Louisville, TN and went home to be with his Lord on Wednesday February 18, 2026.
Bob was a Navy veteran, a retired construction worker, and he loved all sports, especially golf. He was a member of Lamplight Full Gospel Church. He loved his family.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents: Nelson and Gertrude Reno Garner, 5 sisters and 4 brothers, Teresa Fout the mother of one of his granddaughters, special and beloved pets: Max and Logan.
Bob was survived by his wife of 60 years Betty Scott Garner, Children: Jeff, Cindy and Mike. Grandchildren: Kelsey (Devin) Walker, Lauren, Jasmine, Halie, and Billy Fout. Great-Grandchildren: Finley, Bryson Walker, Emersyn Walker, Callie Walker, and daughter in law Kelley Garner. Special Friends: Gina Flanagin, Judy Aker, Dennis, and Kent and Sharon Harveston.
