The receiving of friends will be held 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Tuesday July 23, 2019 at Memorial Funeral Home followed by a Memorial Services at 7:00 P.M. with Pastor Marquel Baker officiating.

Penny had an adventurous soul. Fishing from Ft. Myers to the Dry Tortugas,The Keys,Daytona, Fort Lauderdale to the Bahamas, Watts Bar, chickamauga to little river in Townsend..Racing from Daytona,Atlanta,Charlotte and Bristol. She made a house HOME. Thanks for taking me along for the ride. I love you ! Bobby

Penny was a beautiful, powerful woman taken down too early. She wanted to live and fought with remarkable strength and grace to her last breath. She loves her family, God and friends. She always had a beautiful smile every day of her struggle. I am so grateful she allowed me to be a part of her final days although we hoped for many more. I am glad we came home to her Tennessee family and friends. She asked to return to the river. We planned a Daytona trip I will now make with her in my heart and not at my side. Save me a seat Penny Gay! Dance with your dad, rejoice with God. Always your true friend. Angie L
