Obituaries

We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of our loving mother, grandmother, and aunt Patricia Groves, who was born December 13, 1942, in San Francisco California to Raymond Fromm and Ann Rengstorff. She was a devoted sister to Mary and Luis Contreras, Jr (Husband of Mary), with whom she shared a lifelong bond. We take comfort in the knowledge that she is now reunited with her dearest sister, Mary, in Heaven.

Patricia, a devoted worker and mother of four, retired from Safeway after 33 years of dedicated service. She cherished spending time with her family and also took pleasure in various hobbies, including bowling, puzzles, reading, movies, QVC shopping, and caring for her dogs.

Patricia leaves behind her children: Teresa Perera (Ed), Tammy Hall (Randy), Ronda Bunner (Tad), and Todd Rossi (Mika). Blessed with 13 grandchildren: Brandi, Micheal, Daniel; Tony, Kristina; Krystle, Stefani, Chantelle, Nicole; Kyle, Mya, Hailey, and Leah; as well as many loved great-grandchildren. Patricia is also survived by her adored nieces and nephews and their families.

She was a woman of unwavering strength, and her presence will be forever missed. Her life was a testament to the values of perseverance, love, and family. Her legacy will live on through her children and grandchildren, who carry forward her teachings of compassion and resilience. In this time of mourning, we find comfort in the cherished memories she leaves behind and the impact she had on all our lives.
