Obituaries

Matthew Moore of Knoxville, formally of Townsend, went home to God no longer struggling, but still believing in God, at Ft. Sanders Hospital. He was preceded in death by his parents: Harrison and Clara Faye Moore of Townsend, sisters: Faye Hodge, Jan Garland, and Mary Cope, and brothers: Paul Moore, Benjamin Moore, and Timothy Moore. Matthew leaves behind his loving daughter: Angel Moore, brothers: David Moore, Moses Moore, and Mitchell Moore, sisters: Lillie Grance Dockery, and Lois Butler. Matthew worked for many years as a manager of Goodwill in Knoxville, ITT College of computers degree, and Ted’s Detailing in Maryville. A loving brother, dad, and uncle. He leaves behind many nieces, nephews, friends, and family. We all love you. Go rest high on that mountain, brother. The family would like to thank all the doctors and nurses that cared for our brother at Ft. Sanders Hospital.
