The family will receive friends Saturday February 24, 2024, from 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. at Hillcrest Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. with Rev. Gregory A. Boring and Rev. Charles Murrell officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

John Claude Boring, age 90, passed away peacefully with family by his side on February 21, 2024. He was preceded in death by parents: Andrew and Verna Boring, brother: Leo and twin brother: Clayton Boring. He is survived by his wife of 69 years: Marie Boring, children: Greg (Donna) Boring, Tony (Heather) Boring, and Susie (Tommy) Smith, grandchildren: Gregory A. Boring, Britton Knight, Ray Knight, Donna M. McMahan, Catarina Boring, Hank Haven, great grandchildren: Conway, Xavier, Baylee, Lola, Lucy, Angelica, and Nate.
