Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday August 24, 2019 at Memorial Funeral Home with Pastor Chris Cupp and Pastor Paul Dyar officiating. Burial will follow at Grandview Cemetery. The family will receive friends 12:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Jackson “Jack” Donald Smelcer, age 76 went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Thursday, August 22 in his home with his family by his side. He was preceded in death by his parents, Herman & Mamie Smelcer. Survived by his wife, Annette Lowe Smelcer; children, Brian and Robin Smelcer, Logan and Donna Wilburn; grandchildren, Gavin Smelcer, Alana Wilburn Stanifer, and Kylie Wilburn. He also leaves behind his sister & brother in law, Louise & Roy Latham, his brother & sister in law Larry & Ronna Smelcer and his aunt Christine Thomas, sister in law Nancy Allison and husband Darris, brother in law Bob Lowe and wife Katie, and brother -in law Marin Lowe and wife Norma; Special thanks to his caregiver Robin Smelcer. He was an employee of Kroger for 30 years, and loved to restore cars and especially his grandfather’s 1951 Chevrolet truck. He will be greatly missed by family and friends.
