The family will receive friends 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. Saturday January 17, 2026, at Happy Valley Missionary Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. with Rev. Ronnie Whitehead officiating, and burial immediately following with Rev. Roger Best officiating.

Gladys Louise Coada, age 84, having faith in Christ, passed away peacefully at her home. She attended Red Top Baptist Church until her health declined. She was preceded in death by her husband: Fern Coada, her mother: Effie Buchanan, her brother: Leonard Shope, her sister-in-law: Jeannie Shope, and her daughter-in-law: Courtney Coada. She is survived by her children: Yvonne (Chris) Boring, Brian Coada, Bruce Coada, Rhonda (Roger) Boring, 10 grandchildren: Patrick, Tyler, Dalton, Dillon, Breezy, Cody, Kevin, Bradi, Jessica, and Jeb, 11 great grandchildren, and brother: Mike Shope. Thanks to special caregivers: Patty and Debbie and Prisma Health Hospice.
