With deep sorrow but steadfast hope in Christ, we announce that Donald H Walker entered his eternal rest on Dec. 7, 2025. Though he has departed from this earthly life, we rejoice knowing he is now in the presence of his Lord and Savior, whom he served so faithfully. Born on April 1,1953, Donald lived a life shaped by faith, compassion, and unwavering devotion to God and his family. His walk with Christ was evident in everything he did—from the way he spoke, to the way he served, to the way he loved. Donald was a cherished member of Freedom to Worship Church, where he joyfully offered his gifts in many ways. He loved to play guitar during worship, lifting praises to God with a humble heart and helping lead the congregation into moments of joy and reflection. He also led Sunday School, teaching God’s Word with patience, gentleness, and a genuine desire to help others grow in their faith. Donald believed deeply in preaching love—through Scripture, through his actions, and through the quiet, steady kindness that touched everyone around him. Above all his roles, Donald was an amazing father and grandfather. His family was his greatest earthly blessing, and his love for them was steadfast and unconditional. He poured wisdom, comfort, laughter, and faith into the lives of his children and grandchildren, leaving them with a powerful legacy of what it means to live a Christ-centered life. He is preceded in death by his father Luther Paul Walker, mother Ezalee Walker, brother William Edward (Bud) Walker, daughter Rebecca Lea Walker. He is survived by his daughter Amanda (Jim) Price, grandsons Houston (Emily) Price, Hunter Price, Steve (Erika) Oneal, granddaughters Hallie (Isaiah) Morton, Kayla (Aeric) Dellinger, great grandchildren Elliott Oneal, Wrenley Morton and many Brothers, Sisters, nieces and nephews who will forever carry his teachings, his songs, and his love in their hearts. They find comfort in knowing he has been welcomed into glory with the words, “Well done, good and faithful servant.” Though we mourn his earthly absence, we rest in the blessed assurance that this is not goodbye, but a temporary parting. Donald Walker now rejoices in the fullness of God’s presence—restored, renewed, and forever held in His eternal love.
