Obituaries

Our sweet Cindy gained her wings on November 29^th, 2019. Family and friends may take comfort knowing that she was very at peace and surrounded by family when our Lord and Savior called her home. She had a heart of gold and a laughter that will be missed beyond words. We would like to share our heartfelt gratitude, appreciation and deep respect to Blount Memorial ER department, Dr. Joshi and team, Doctor Dabbaugh and team, Cole, Deanna, Ashlan  /Janet CCU team, Dr. Patel (you are an angel on Earth) Dr. Holcomb, Dr Winbigler, and all the supporters.  She was preceded by her mother Ruth Mason, stepfather Paul Sexton, caregiver Jovanna Cooper.  She is survived by children Jama, Jason, Denise. Brother Roger (Dawn) Mason, caregivers Dean Cooper and Libby. Best friends Sophia, Jojo, Aunt Roxy Rappaport, Jack (Alda), Steve & Aunt Stella, Uncle Charles (Brenda)Thompson.  Four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, many loving nieces nephews and folks she loved & adopted as family. She will be deeply missed until we are reunited again.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made directly to Memorial Funeral Home.
