Family will meet friends from 1-2pm at the Memorial Funeral Home on Monday March 21, 2022, with a memorial service to begin at 2pm. She will be laid to rest at Grandview Cemetery in Maryville TN. Services will also be streamed over Facebook live https://www.facebook.com/carmen.l.miller for those who are unable to attend.

Carolyn B. Drinkwater, 82, of Maryville, TN died at her home on Wednesday, March 16, 2022. Carolyn was born October 6, 1939, to William B. & Carmen (Crawford) Becker in Jacksonville, IL. She grew up on the family farm in Alexander IL & graduated from Franklin High School in 1957. She graduated from Hardin Brown Business College in 1959 and then worked at Anderson-Clayton Foods in Jacksonville for a time. Carolyn married Robert C. Drinkwater in 1961 and moved to Beardstown IL where she raised her family. They later divorced. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Beardstown and retired from Walmart after many years of service. Carolyn is survived by three daughters, Carmen (Ken) Miller of Marysville TN, Teresa Lee of Manchester TN, Trenna (Mark) Cearlock of Spaulding, IL and a son, Joe Drinkwater of Kennewick WA. She had five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She is also survived by two brothers, Carl (Bonnie) Becker, William Becker and one sister, Ruth Sayer. She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Helen Fitzsimmons, and Marcella Petefish.
