The family will receive friends from 12:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Clarks Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the Rett Syndrome Foundation at rettsyndrome.org.

Bessie Darlene Bunch, 69, of Rockford passed away peacefully at her home on Friday morning, November 21, 2025. She was a loving mother to twin daughters Sonya and Tonya, but the light of her life was her grandson, Cortland. Bessie, better known to family and friends as Darlene loved to be around people – most especially her family. She looked forward to the hours spent playing with her grandson. She was an avid Bingo player and spent hours working puzzles. Darlene was preceded in death by her father, James L. Lowe. Survivors include her mother Jean Lowe of Rockford; daughters Sonya Long of Maryville and Tonya Lowe of Rockford; grandson, Cortland Long of Maryville; brother and sister-in-law Rick and Sherry Lowe of Maryville; sister and brother-in-law Joanna Moor and Dan Jenkins of Mesa, AZ; brother Gary Lowe of Rockford, aunts Ann Belcher, Wanda Miles, Rosa Mae Holman, and Janice Heaton; and several nieces and nephews.
