Funeral services will be held at 7:00 P.M. Friday July 27, 2018 at Memorial Funeral Home: 1102 Big Springs Road Maryville, TN 37801, with Rev. Gary Cowan officiating. The friends and family will meet at 11:00 A.M. Saturday July 28, 2018 at Stock Creek Cemetery in Knoxville for graveside services. The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home.

Wendell A. (Bluestripe) Wilson, 60 of Maryville, passed away July 21, 2018. He had a passion for ham and amateur radio. This passion created several friendships along the way. Wendell was preceded in death by his Parents: Bill and Dorothy Wilson, Brothers: Harold, Larry, and Herbert and wife: Dot. Survivors include: Sister-in-law: Joyce Cantrell Wilson, Nieces and Nephews: Laura, Bill, Kelley, Tom, Reed, and Amy, also Kenny (Looney), his business partner best friend, and brother in life. Lastly, Spotemous, his canine partner in crime.
