A graveside service will be held at Morganton Cemetery (Bakers Creek) Saturday November 3, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. The family and friends will be leaving Memorial Funeral Home at 1:30 P.M. Saturday. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the funeral home to help with a headstone.

Mike Sweet, 50 of Maryville, passed away October 25, 2018. He was of the Baptist faith. He was proceeded in death by Mother: Linda Appling Rucker, and Grandparents: George and Lela Appling. Mourned by Wife: Jan Sweet; Daughters and Sons-In-Law: Jessica and TJ Key, and Katie and Nathan Mobius, Grandchildren: Devon Key and Lily Mobius, Sister and Brother-in-Law: Amey and Kevin Dukes, Nieces: Sadie and Sydnie Dukes, surviving Aunts: Kathy and husband James Keller and Pat Weaver.
