Receiving of friends will be Friday, May 18, 2018 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Mt Zion Baptist Church, 608 Ed Davis Road, Maryville, TN with funeral to follow at 7:00 pm. with the Reverend Terry Nelson officiating. In lieu of flowers, please donate to St Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital or the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Tennessee.

Charles R. Kirkland, 59 of Maryville, passed away on Saturday, May 12, 2018. Preceded in death by his mother Lucille, sister Judy, niece Emily Nelson, father and mother in law Leo and Gloria Davis and brother in law Leo Davis, Jr. Charles is survived by wife Kimberly, son Nicholas (Natalia), father Robert (Sue), sisters Wilma (Terry) Nelson and Janet (Stacy) Mealer, nieces Stephanie (Britton) Knight and Sara Bivens, nephews Elijah Kirkland and Tristan Mealer, great nieces Baylee and Lucy Knight, sister in laws Denise (Richard) Jones, Loreeta (Jerry) Young, Deloris (Tyson) McClanahan, Bonita (Dennis) Fawver and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
